How much does a mobile tire service call cost?
Every call carries a $100 mobile service fee plus a $20 fuel surcharge on standard vehicles. That covers the truck, the trailer with the tire machine and balancer, and the trip to you. The work itself is priced on top. A passenger flat is $75, balancing is $25 a tire, and so on. We total the whole thing on the phone before we roll. What does a flat tire repair cost?
A passenger flat repair is $75 in our core area, or $125 if you’re more than about 35 miles out. Add the $100 service fee and $20 fuel surcharge and a weekday repair in the core area comes to $195 all in. Why is there a service fee on top of the repair?
Because the shop is coming to you. The fee pays for the truck, the trailer carrying a full tire machine and balancer, the fuel, and the time on the road. Compare it to what it replaces: a tow, or a drive on a doubtful spare, then a morning in a waiting room. That trade is the whole idea behind roadside tire service.
How much does mounting and balancing cost?
Balancing is $25 per tire on wheels under 22 inches, and $35 per tire for 22-inch-and-up wheels or big tires (35s and up). Both prices include a new valve stem and disposal of the old tire. How much do new tires cost through you?
The tire sets most of the price: the size, the brand and the tier. A mid-range new tire often runs $150 to $250 before mounting. We don’t post a price list because it changes by size and supplier, so we quote your exact size on the phone, as one number that covers the tire, mounting, balancing, disposal and the trip. Is mobile tire service more expensive than going to a tire shop?
On the invoice, the $120 trip is money a shop doesn’t charge, and we won’t pretend otherwise. What you’re buying is everything else: no tow, no driving on a bad tire, no half-day in a waiting room, no second trip to pick the car up. If you can easily drive to a shop on a good spare, a shop may be cheaper. If you can’t, mobile tire replacement usually wins.
Do you charge more at night, on weekends or on holidays?
Yes. Our standard rates cover weekdays 8 to 5, and after-hours rates apply outside that. On commercial work that’s published: $105 an hour becomes $125 an hour. How is semi truck and commercial work priced?
Commercial work is $105 an hour with a two-hour minimum on weekdays 8 to 5, and $125 an hour (same minimum) after hours, weekends and holidays. Mounts are per tire on top: $45 for 17.5s and 19.5s, $50 for 22.5s, $60 for super singles and 425s, $50 for forklifts, $65 for farm equipment. A semi flat repair is $50 plus the hourly minimum. What does ATV, mower or farm equipment tire work cost?
Same $100 service fee and $20 fuel surcharge as any call. Farm equipment mounts are $65 a tire. Small-equipment jobs like mowers and ATVs are quoted by the machine, because a tube swap and a new tire are very different jobs. Tell us what it is and we’ll total it on the phone. What does RV or trailer tire service cost?
Trailer and RV tires are priced by size like any other tire, and the whole job is quoted as one number before we come out. A pre-trip check of tires you already have is a short visit. Is there a fee to get rid of my old tires?
No. Disposal is built into the $25 or $35 per-tire balancing price along with the new valve stem. We take the old tires with us, and there’s no separate disposal line at the end. See Mobile Tire Replacement.
Will the price change once you get here?
No. The number you’re quoted on the phone is the number you pay, and being stranded doesn’t change it. The one honest exception: if you called for a repair and the damage turns out to be in the sidewall, it isn’t repairable. What payment methods do you take?
Card, ACH, Apple Pay, Cash App, Zelle and Afterpay. Cash is fine too, but the truck doesn’t carry change, so it needs to be the exact amount. Want to spread it out? See Tire Financing.
Can I finance tires?

Are you really open 24 hours?
Yes: 24 hours a day, seven days a week, weekends and holidays included. The phone gets answered at 2 a.m. on a Sunday, which is exactly when every tire shop in the county is closed. After-hours rates apply outside weekday 8 to 5. See roadside tire service in Ocala.
How fast can you get to me?
Most Ocala-area calls are handled the same day, often within the hour. It depends on where the truck is when you call, so tell us your location and we’ll give you a realistic time, not an optimistic one. Outlying towns take longer simply because of the drive. How long does a flat repair take once you arrive?
Most repairs take about 20 to 30 minutes on site. That includes dismounting the tire, checking the inside, repairing it, and rebalancing. The bigger variable is the drive to you. See mobile flat tire repair.
How long does it take to put on a full set of tires?
Plan on about an hour and a half on site for four tires, mounted, balanced and torqued to spec, with the old ones loaded up and gone. See New Tires & Wheels.
Can you come early, before I leave for work?
Yes, and it’s one of the most common requests we get. Because we run around the clock, a tire in the driveway at 5 a.m. is normal work. Can I book ahead instead of calling when it’s an emergency?

What if my tire size isn’t on the truck?

Can every flat tire be repaired?
No. A puncture in the tread area is usually repairable. Damage in the sidewall or shoulder, a tire that’s been driven on flat, or tread already worn to the bars can’t be safely repaired, and we’ll tell you that rather than patch it and hope. Do you plug tires or patch them?
When the puncture calls for it, we do it properly: tire off the wheel, inside inspected, patched from the inner liner, then rebalanced. An outside plug is a get-you-home fix, not a permanent repair, and we’ll tell you which one your tire needs. See Mobile Tire Repair in Ocala.
I bought tires online. Will you install them?
Yes, and it’s a big part of what we do. Have them shipped to your house and we’ll meet them there: mounted, balanced, torqued, old tires hauled away. It’s $25 a tire under 22-inch wheels plus the $120 trip. See Tire Mounting & Balancing.
Do you handle TPMS sensors?

Can you fix a bent or leaking wheel?

Can you replace just one tire?
Yes. If the rest of your tread is in reasonable shape, one tire is usually fine. On all-wheel-drive vehicles matching matters more, and we’ll talk it through before you spend money. See Mobile Tire Replacement.
Do you work on semis, box trucks and work fleets?
Yes: semis, trailers, box trucks, dumps, forklifts and service vans, at your yard, a job site or the shoulder. We come from a transportation background, so we know a down truck costs more than a tire. See Commercial & Fleet Tire Service.
Do you service RV and trailer tires?
Yes: RVs, travel trailers, fifth wheels, boat, utility, equipment and horse trailers, wherever they’re parked. We check date codes and dry rot as well as tread, because trailer tires usually age out before they wear out. Many manufacturers suggest replacement around five to seven years regardless of tread. Do you do golf cart tires?

Do you do ATV, mower and tractor tires and tubes?

Do you do mechanic work besides tires?

Does it cost more if I’m farther out?
On flat repairs, yes: $75 in our core area becomes $125 beyond about 35 miles. Everything else is quoted on the phone with the distance already in it, so the number you hear is the number you pay. See our service area.
Do you have a shop I can drive to?
No, and that’s the point. We’re a service-area business with no storefront. The shop is the truck and a trailer carrying a full tire machine and balancer, and it comes to your driveway, job site, barn or roadside. We’re based in Ocala and cover Marion, Lake and Sumter counties.

What do I need to tell you when I call?

How do I find my tire size?
It’s printed on the sidewall in a format like 225/65R17, and there’s a sticker inside the driver’s door jamb. Can’t find it? Text us a photo of the sidewall and we’ll read it for you. That’s the fastest way to get an exact mobile tire replacement quote.
Do I need to be there while you work?

What should I do while I wait on the interstate?
Get as far onto the shoulder as you safely can and put your hazards on. Wait away from the traffic side of the vehicle, behind the guardrail if there is one, not in the car. Don’t stand between your car and moving traffic. Give us the mile marker or exit. See roadside tire service on I-75.
